Invisalign
Need orthodontic treatment but worried about the appearance of metal braces? You may qualify for Invisalign, a discreet clear aligner system that can often straighten teeth in less time than braces.

For many patients, orthodontic treatment is a necessity. Whether you have an improper bite that’s causing you discomfort or gapped teeth that you’re embarrassed about, getting your teeth straightened can make them not only more attractive, but healthier and easier to clean for a beautiful, pain-free smile for life.
At Laguna Pavilion Dental, Dr. Sattout works with adults and children alike to customize Invisalign treatment plans to straighten teeth. While Invisalign can’t treat every orthodontic case, most people will qualify for this form of treatment.
Orthodontic Issues Invisalign Can Treat and How It Works
Fortunately, Invisalign can treat many common orthodontic issues, including:
- Crowded teeth
- Gapped teeth
- Overbites
- Underbites
- Cross bites
- Open bites
- Misaligned or crooked teeth
After your consultation for Invisalign, if you decide to move forward with the treatment, Dr. Sattout will send out the digital impressions taken during your appointment to a lab.
The lab will create customized trays for your unique smile, which will be swapped out every few weeks, or as directed by Dr. Sattout, to gently shift your teeth into their proper positions. The average length of treatment time will vary per patient, however, most patients will complete their treatment in approximately 12 to 18 months.
How Do I Know If I Qualify for Invisalign?
The only way to know if you’re a candidate for Invisalign is by getting an exam with a professional Invisalign care provider such as Dr. Sattout. During your consultation for Invisalign, Dr. Sattout will conduct a physical exam of your oral cavity and take digital x-rays. These x-rays will be able to show your teeth as they are now, and, if you qualify for Invisalign, what they will look like when your Invisalign treatment is complete.
The consultation is painless and simple, and you’ll be able to see your results right here in our office. For many patients, Invisalign can fix common orthodontic issues in less time than traditional metal braces, and people find them more comfortable and manageable than regular braces for their treatment.
